Author Guidelines

Authors are invited to submit original, scientifically sound, and ethically conducted manuscripts that fall within the aims and scope of the Journal of Clinical Dentistry and Medical Sciences (JCDMS).

Manuscripts submitted to JCDMS must be original, must not have been published previously, and must not be under consideration for publication elsewhere. All authors must have made appropriate contributions to the work and must approve the final manuscript and its submission to the journal.

Authors are responsible for ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and originality of their work. Appropriate ethical approval, informed consent, clinical trial registration, permissions, and other regulatory requirements must be obtained wherever applicable. Research involving human participants, human material, identifiable patient information, or animals must comply with applicable ethical and institutional standards.

Manuscripts should be prepared in clear academic English and according to the requirements applicable to the relevant article type. Authors should follow appropriate reporting guidelines where applicable, such as CONSORT, STROBE, PRISMA, CARE, STARD, ARRIVE, or other relevant EQUATOR Network guidelines.

All sources must be appropriately cited. Authors must disclose conflicts of interest, sources of funding, and other relevant declarations. Any use of artificial intelligence or AI-assisted technologies in manuscript preparation must be transparently disclosed where applicable and must comply with the journal's editorial policies. AI tools must not be listed as authors.

Authors must obtain permission for any copyrighted material reproduced from other sources. Submission of a manuscript indicates that the authors agree to comply with the journal's editorial, peer-review, publication ethics, copyright, licensing, and other applicable policies.

All submitted manuscripts are subject to initial editorial assessment. Manuscripts considered suitable for the journal may proceed to peer review. Submission does not guarantee acceptance, and the editorial decision will be based on scientific quality, originality, relevance, methodological rigor, ethical compliance, and the outcome of the editorial and peer-review process.

Authors should ensure that all required manuscript files, figures, tables, supplementary materials, declarations, and supporting documents are complete and accurate before final submission.
